Founded in Aurora, Illinois, Monroy Hardwood Flooring represents three decades of dedication to quality hardwood flooring services. Our founder, Rudy Sr., began his journey in the flooring industry at just seventeen years old after arriving in the United States. Starting as an apprentice, he quickly mastered the art of hardwood floor installation, sanding, and finishing techniques.
When faced with unemployment due to company changes, Rudy Sr. refused to abandon his dream of owning a successful flooring business. At nineteen, while working factory and roofing jobs to save money, he met Tom, a local builder who recognized his determination and work ethic. Tom provided the crucial loan that enabled Rudy to purchase professional flooring equipment and a work van launching what would become Aurora's premier hardwood flooring company.
Today, Rudy Sr. continues to mentor the next generation of skilled flooring craftsmen, including his sons, cousins, nephews, and dedicated team members. Our story embodies the American dream through hard work, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
